The Latino Partner of Champaign County NFP evolved from an Association of community service agencies that started out in 2002. It is associated with/has a membership made up of over 40+ public and non-profit organizations that seek to develop and improve services for/with members of the Latino/a community. Over the next two years, the Latino Partnershop plans to create more enduring relationships with key community organizations and institutions. Your participation and recommendations are welcome.
Our PurposeThis corporation has been formed to eliminate prejudice and discrimination, defend human and civil rights secured by law, encourage instruction or training of individuals for the purpose of improving or developing their capabilities, and encourage instruction of the public on subjects useful to individuals and beneficial to the community. To accomplish these purposes, the corporation will support and improve services to the Latino population in Champaign County, Illinois by building the capacity of service-providing organizations and individuals through the distribution of information relating to community safety, legal rights, healthcare, educational and employment opportunities, language skills and other subjects beneficial to the community.
